Search Queries
A name or place entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside company operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. De Baca County Criminal History does not retain or log those search terms on its own systems.
Messages and Contact Submissions
An email sent to us may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It is kept within the organization unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.
Data We Gather Automatically
When a page loads, the server automatically receives basic technical and usage details:

- The referring website, when one is reported

No Criminal-Record Data on File
De Baca County Criminal History neither maintains nor sells a database of personal criminal records. Its content identifies how to approach the De Baca County Sheriff's Office, local courts, NMDPS Law Enforcement Records Bureau, and New Mexico DPS Sex Offender Registry for records those offices control. Visitor information is not compiled into a consumer report or a file about another person. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through a box is governed by that provider's policy rather than this one. Each company determines its own retention, processing, and disclosure practices, which are beyond our control. Read the applicable provider policy before sending a query.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to the De Baca County Sheriff's Office, New Mexico court systems, state agencies, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. Once a visitor follows one of those links, the destination's privacy terms apply. Review them before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own technology to observe activity across websites for targeted advertising. That processing occurs through their systems.

New Mexico's Inspection of Public Records Act, Sections 14-2-1 through 14-2-12 NMSA 1978, governs access to records held by public offices, while the Arrest Record Information Act, Sections 29-10-1 through 29-10-8 NMSA 1978, controls dissemination of arrest-record information and gives a person a defined route to inspect information concerning that person. Those statutes do not turn this private site into a government records custodian. Subject to the law that applies, you may:
